Dear Mr Hooker,

this is an appraisal of the conservatory you made for us. A structure may look good when new but the real test is how it is after , say, 5 years
It is at least that since ours was built and it has stood the test of time remarkably well, still looking extremely good and with everything fitting and working with no defects. Whereas some local friends with a smaller structure than ours but costing more from one of the big names in your industry, have had constant problems with leaks etc.

Pam & Ken Sneath's conservatory

Pam & Ken Sneath's conservatory is in white hardwood, the style is Georgian top panels with hoops below, topped with a double glazed toughened glass roof. What the Sneaths had to say: "We liked the lots of useful suggestions for conservatory features and the helpful advice from Alan Hooker that was obviously the result of years of experience in the industry. Apart from the helpful advice we were also made aware of the weaknesses in our first thoughts on the project but then together found realistic solutions. The honest and realistic approach was appreciated as many companies we had seen were obviously intent on providing us with what suited them! We have appreciated the way Heritage Conservatories have overseen all aspects from concept to completion, and enjoyed the conservatory going up with minimum disruption. The workers were friendly and pleasant, in fact we missed them when they went!"

Mr & Mrs Taylor's conservatory

Mr & Mrs Taylor have a Grade II listed building (popular for its bed and breakfast service!) in this conservation village of Castor, near Peterborough. Heritage Conservatories designed and gained approval for a gorgeous conservatory to be positioned off the thatched main building as well as the converted stables. Mrs Taylor says: "We had a few companies around to look at the project but chose Heritage Conservatories after weighing up the full service on offer and Heritage's understanding of what we wanted, rather than the approach of the other companies who seemed to think we should have what they wanted us to have! We needed help in blending the new building into our Grade II listed cottage and the personality of Alan Hooker made it a pleasurable experience. Everybody concerned was of a well mannered and helpful nature, with dates and times kept to, and advice beforehand if anything was changing. The compliments we get from everyone who visit us confirm that the building is greatly admired, we still like to just sit and look at it with admiration, we feel it is a little different from the rest, from beginning to end our experience has been one of confidence in what was being done, in fact a pleasure to pay for a good job well done!"
