The dilapidated gem

For Mr & Mrs Turner, the conservatory they inherited when buying their period home was both a gem and a liability. Obviously, what was once a labour of love by a bygone craftsman had now become a danger zone, with the softwood frames barely able to hold the glass any longer and sections of the building falling out at the slightest vibration.

What was needed was the Heritage touch!

While the majority of buildings by Heritage Conservatories use the modern "storm window" style of frames and the latest in hi-tech components, our involvement in old and listed buildings has made it necessary to develop our "Conservation Range". This involves using bygone techniques and styles such as "inline casements" and "sliding box sash windows" when creating our conservatories and orangeries.
